Received Grantham's letter of 18 November, and paid this morning the two small drafts which Grantham gave Joyes for 3564 Reals Vellon to Simon de Romar, and 2713 Reals Vellon to Domingo de la Vega. Have enquired of Mr. Kearney the price of the silver plated basin, ewer and soap box, coming to 950 Reals Vellon. Mr. Kearney says that the Abbe Poci took at the same time an ink stand, two candlesticks and two waiters, amounting to 899:2 Reals Vellon. If they were also for Grantham, Joyes will pay for them along with the abovementioned 950 Reals. Will have the remaining balance of last month's account ready for Grantham when he comes to Town.
