Received Grantham's letter of yesterday. Joyes will keep in their hands 9761:20 Reals, which will be applied to the four payments Grantham orders for his account. Send by the bearer the sum of 37978:13 Reals Vellon, which is the balance of Grantham's account for the last month, a note of which is enclosed. Also the bills for £500 to be signed. Will enquire of Messrs. Brodeirs and Sons regarding the 644 Reals Vellon, in order to balance all accounts between Grantham and them.
