Have received Grantham's letter of yesterday and delivered the enclosed immediately to Mr. Dillon. As this day is a festival, the Guadalajara warehouse was shut up, but will send there tomorrow for three suits of Vicuna cloth, five barrs a piece, of the natural colour, and will let Grantham know tomorrow night by the Parte every particular he mentions relating to it. Will forward it at the first opportunity to Bilbao. Joyes sent this day by an officer of the Guards and Brigadier, Don Joseph Carlos de Aguero, a small parcel, containing 300 Gold Pistoles, the balance of £500, which Joyes will have ready for Grantham's arrival in Town.
