James Wits one of the wittness against me was sworn before Captn Waldgrave to tell the truth and nothing less all that he told was falls all but one thing. He says that when I walked out of the spinney I had my gun in my right hand wich was right enough I then put it under my left arm the same as when Brampton met me and he like wise says that Bramptons but end of his gun was towards me wich was intirley fallse when I told him he was not telling the truth he dropt this cause and said the gun had a case over the barrles wich was flase likewise and he then dropt that cause. As I saw the gun barrles shine as bright as could be at that time so there could be now case on it. This man will sware to any thing As I can bring wittness that he oft is a false sworn man before this time as he swore false against John Fuller wich he can not deny as it was fulley proved against him.
