Text in French]. Beylie confirms that he has "received from Messrs. Lascage the sum of £600, by virtue of the letter of credit from Joyes and Sons at Madrid, by order of his Excellence My Lord Grantham, English Ambassador at Madrid, and for the account of Mr. Harris, English Envoy at the Court of Berlin, made in duplicate at Bayonne." 19 December 1774. ** [Enclosed.
