Will tomorrow send Beylie to receive the balance of the value of £500 for which he will give a draught upon London as usual. i.e. the balance of £500, deducting the 7529 Reals and 15000 Reals drawn for on the 6th and 16th, likewise the bill from Bilbao of 320å and the bill from Lisbon. Gave the Hermosos Silk Merchant a bill upon Joyes for 46,779 Reals today, and on Saturday will do the same to Du Vergy for 31,493 Reals, and on Monday will draw for about 47,500, which altogether makes nearly 175,000, for which Grantham will then be ready to give whatever receipt or acknowledgement is deemed satisfactory.
