- Scope and ContentHurdis would have liked to have seen Grantham, while he was in London, but saw Lady Robinson twice instead. The first meeting Grantham will presumably have had account of from Lady Robinson; on the second, Hurdis told Lady Robinson that he would abide by Mr Clough's Rental, that he would not renew, upon a less Fine, than what Mr Clough had set, nor would any timber be cut without an order from him or his agent, and that he should be at full liberty to make changes as he thought fit. Would not renew upon any other conditions, and is convinced of the justice of them. PS. Wishing Grantham health and success in Spain.
