The Men only Club held its first General Meeting with a view to form a Bowling Club in Bedford at the Town Hall on the 5 May 1904, there were about 20 present. For their centenary celebrations they booked Renhold Village Hall for the Annual Dinner on the 29 October 2004 and distributed commemorative plaques, coasters and ties. The Women's Club started in 1914. The Club later became unified, joining the men's and women's clubs.
