    Estate rents apportioned between Lord Grantham, Sir Norton and Lady Robinson. Leases by Sir Tancred and Sir William commenced 25 March. Lady Robinson needs cash; can she have interest on the £600. Have sold a shabby house and garden in Bootham for £250 - possibility of sales in Acomb and Dishforth. Mr Bewlay sends map of manor and answer to Mr Burrels letter next Wednesday to be laid before Treasury. Dr Hurdis sent papers and instructions for Mr Clough to settle the fine for putting in a new life for Strensal. Lord Grantham continues weak (died 30 September 1770).
