Manors of Shelton and Deane; rent of £80; advowson of Shelton; all lands in Sharnebrooke, Felmersham, Radwell, Biddenham, Wyboston in Eaton Socon; rent of £53 and Impropriate rectory of Thurleigh; and rent of £100 to the use of 1) ... manor of Melchbourne and rectories of Melchbourne and Riseley and advowsons of Melchbourne, Riseley and Thurleigh, and lands in Melchbourne, Riseley and Bletsoe to the us of 1) for life, and then to Sir St Andrew St John Covenant against all incumbrances except mortgage by Oliver Earl of Bolingbrooke to Sir Thomas Hewytt for £3,500 (in 1656); except mortgage to Roger Jackson for £1,500 (1682) except 2 mortgages to Oliver Luke and T Christie (1668)
