Gift from Mr S J Novis, 4 Duchess Road, Bedford, on 11 May 1981 Found in a building (Gwyn Street?) when a TV aerial was being put in.
Scope and Content
The bank concerned was the Northamptonshire Union Bank Ltd, situated in 1980 at 20 and 22 St Loyes Street, Bedford, and in 1920 at 20 High Street and St Pauls Square, Bedford. They drew on William Deacon's Bank. Between 1920 and 1924 the bank was almalgamated with the National Provincial.
