Sent from San Ildefonso 10 July 1773, received 13th. Linings and other things removed from the house which now looks bare and shows many nail holes in the plaster. Instructed friend in Segovia to speak to Manuel Gomez about the chairs to have them ready in 3rd week of this month and also to give further instructions to man who did repairs in the house.
