Wrote on 16th. John Macgregor Master of the Peace and Plenty arrived from Dublin 7 June and sailed for London 15th instant, left a box directed to Lord Grantham on board the Prince George; Guerin, who told me of it yesterday opened it on my instructions and found 4 pieces of silk, one pink, one brown, one purple and white, one buff; if it is to be sent to Madrid please inform of quality and contents for permits. Last night the Venus frigate of war arrived from Manilla "where on board is come a Young Elephant for Madrid".
