    i) Catherine Agnes Rooper, Bournemouth, Southampton, spinster Emily Frances Rooper, Bournemouth, spinster Edith Mary Rooper, Bournemouth, spinster Henrietta Persis Rooper, Bournemouth, spinster Thomas Godolphin Rooper, The Elms, High Harrogate, Yorkshire, Esquire Wilhelmina Lydia Rooper, Bournemouth, etc, spinster ii) The Reverend George Heathcote, 5, Arlington Street, Piccadilly, London, clerk in Holy Orders George Rooper, Nascott House, Watford, Hertfordshire, Esquire reciting will of Catherine Moyer, late of Low Leyton, Essex, spinster, deceased, dated 8 December 1827 by which she bequeathed 3% Consols to The Honorable and Reverend William Henry Dawnay (afterwards Lord Viscount Downe) and Sir Gilbert Heathcote in trust for her nephew John Heathcote, since deceased, and afterwards in trust for his children as he should appoint and in default of such appointment (and none such was made) in trust, as to 1/4th part, to pay interest to great niece of testatrix, Frances Catherine Rooper (under her then name of Frances Catherine Heathcote), and after her death in trust, as to the principal of such 1/4th part, for all her children, except the eldest or only child, the share of daughters to be transferred at 21 or marriage and sons at 21. If no such children then-in trust for her brother, George Heathcote, absolutely Said testatrix was possessed of £44,000 3% Consols, to 1/4th part of which said Frances Catherine Rooper became entitled for life reciting settlement of 15 February 1841 a) Frances Catherine Rooper (then F C Heathcote) b) The Reverend William Henry Rooper c) John Moyer Heathcote said George Heathcote George Rooper being settlement previous to marriage of a) and b) was declared that iii) should be possessed of certain sums of £7500 Bank reduced 3% annuities, £1597 17s 4d Bank 3% consolidated annuities, £700 Bank 3½% reduced annuities and £363 5s 7d Bank stock, in trust to pay interest and bonuses to a) after marriage for her separate use for life. If b) survives her, then interest to b) for life. After death of both of them in trust for the children of a) and b) as they should appoint and in default of such direction then, as to one moiety to the eldest child of a) and b) - who is excluded from a share in the will of Catherine Moyer. Other moiety (or whole part in case eldest child, if son, should not attain 21, or, if daughter, should marry without consent of parents, under 21) to be in trust for such children as should be 21 etc. Eldest child not to have less than £4000. There were six children of the marriage of Frances Catherine Rooper and William Henry Rooper i.e. Catherine Agnes Rooper, the eldest child, and E F Rooper, E M Rooper, H P Rooper, T G Rooper and W L Rooper, all of whom have attained 21 reciting death of John Moyer Heathcote in 1892 and of Frances Catherine Rooper on 22 January 1882 and William Henry Rooper on 28 July 1893. In 1854 a further sum of £4000 became subject to the trusts of the said settlement. Also £11,000 (1/4th part of said £44,000 3% Consols) was transferred to trustees of marriage settlement, many years ago. Said stocks, funds are now represented by trust monies etc as in schedule Annual income was paid to C F [?F C] Rooper for life and after her death to W H Rooper (with consent of i) now the capital has become transferrable - i.e. £11 Consols to be divided between all the children except C A Rooper, the eldest. One moiety of settlement money passed to C A Rooper and the other moiety was divided between the other 5 i) have accepted said monies to intent that they might apportion the same among themselves now i) release ii) and also trustees of John Moyer Heathcote from said monies, investments and all actions, proceedings etc Schedule Present state of the trust funds £13,500 invested on mortgage of 3/5th shares in a freehold property near Worthing, Sussex £500 in cash £2000 4½% Preference Stock of the Government Stock Investment Co Ltd £6000 invested on mortgage of leasehold premises known as 'The Pines', Bath Road, Bournemouth, purchased by W H Rooper in 1883 £2,001 18s invested in part payment of the purchase money of leasehold premises known as 'Chaddesley', Bournemouth, purchased by W H Rooper on 3 October 1892 signatures of i) witness to all Maxly Rooper, solicitor, 17 Lincoln's Inn, Fields
