    i) Joseph Jarvis of Shefford, carrier & wife Sarah nee Wright ii) John Stanbridge of Clifton, carpenter & wife Martha nee Wright iii) Thomas Simms of Haynes, butcher & wife Maria nee Wright iv) William Green of Shefford, liquor merchant recites: will of Samuel Wright formerly of Shefford, deceased, victualler dated 12 September 1818 by which he bequeathed to wife Mary all his real estates for life & widowhood & then to his son George Wright; testator died seised of property in Clifton, viz: C - in Shefford Field in a furlong formerly called Chilvers Low & now Redhouse Gate Furlong being 2 lands containing by estimation 1 acre but by measurement 2 roods 25 perches : East Mr. Barber : West Mr Hesse : North Upper Downs Furlong : South highway from Shefford to Hitchin A - one piece being 3 lands in same furlong containing 1 acre by estimate but 3 roods 35 perches by measurement : East Town Land : West Mr. Barber : North Lower Downs Furlong. : South aforesaid highway C - one piece containing 1 rood 20 perches in Upper Downs Shot in same field : North Mr. Arch : South Mr. Hesse : East Withershill : North Redhouse Gate B - piece being 2 lands containing 2 roods 14 perches in shot beyond Sallow Bush in same field : East Mr. Arch : West balk called Honey Common Doves : North road from Shefford to Clifton : South Clay Pits formerly the land of Joseph Cole all which premises were late in occupation of of James Hanscomb C - parcel of arable in Dunmer Shot in Hitchin Field 1 rood 13 perches : North late Mr Hesse : South Mr Arch : East Longland : West Highway sometime in occupation of James Hanscomb, late of William Harwood, then Samuel Wright whereas: said testator died 6 October 1818; will proved at Bedford Mary Wright has some time since died leaving George surviving her & he died 29 September 1823 intestate & unmarried by which property came to his 3 sisters & coheirs at law whereas: i) ii) & iii) have agreed to make partition of land as hereinafter mentioned now: i) ii) & iii) agree to levy fine to iv) of said land to enure as follows: A to i) B to ii) C to iii) copy attested 5 December 1829 by Frederick Harris & William Race, clerks to Mr King, solicitor Potton
