    Note Station Road Piece: balance of purchase money £198 minus £25.4.9 = £172.15.3 Letter i) Frederick Conder of Conder & Son [etc] ii) Edward Foster of Broom Hall, Biggleswade encloses cheque for £17 balance of deposit received from Mr Ruffell; deducted £5 commission - hope this is correct but have mislaid scale of charges 12 October 1893; acknowledged 14 October Letter [parties as above] encloses Mr Ruffell's account which was deducted from the purchase money. 11 October 1893 Memorandum £25.4.9 repair account was deducted from balance of purchase money paid to Mr Foster by Mr Ruffell. In Mr Conder's absence this deduction must be subject to adjustment between Mr Conder & Mr Ruffell & not to be taken as an admission of the account by Mr Foster.
