Statement by John Sicard: at end September 1812 Townley's daughter called on writer at Kensington Palace & informed him that Edwards from Fleet Street pressed Townley to give further information about the Princess. Stated that he had seen [William] Austin at Greenwich & the boy's mother, & that it was lucky for the Princess that the boy was like the rest of the family.
