- Date free text17 March 1813
- Production dateFrom: 1813 To: 1813
- Scope and ContentPerceval's letter commenting on the evidence must be published; without it the evidence would be most prejudicial. If the letter cannot be produced, then her own broken English narrative must be published. The commissioners deserve blame for leaving so many parts of the cross-examination broken off. Lady Douglas' evidence much garbled. Thinks that of others abridged also. Bidgood, Lloyd and Cole were in the Prince's pay. Manby's affidavit should be proved if possible by other evidence, & the attempts to tamper with him stated. We are justified in printing anything in self-defence, as Carlton House has begun the affair. A question should be put to Castlereagh as to the enquiry going on & the Regent doing things without their privity.
