    Parties: (i) Grace Underwood of Beeston, Sandy; (ii) Charles James Underwood as surety); (iii) Alfred Cope of Beeston, market gardener (as guarantor) Reciting: - Z1578/Bee/1/25; - some portion of the mortgage remained outstanding; - (iii) at the request of (ii) had guaranteed his banking account with Lloyds Bank Limited in Biggleswade in the sum of £150 [i.e. this was the amount of the second mortgage given by (iii)] and had now given notice to terminate the guarantee unless (ii) provided (iii) with an adequate security against contingent liability, which (ii) had been unable to furnish; - (i) had therefore agreed to give (a) to (iii) as security Operative Part: - (i) demised (a) to (iii) for 3,000 years as security for £150 paid by (iii) subject to the mortgage of 13 September 1928 subject to repayment to him of all monies paid by him to the bank as guarantor or to the building society; - (i) and (ii) covenanted with (iii) to repay him all sums he had to pay as guarantor; - (i) and (ii) became tenants at law of (iii) regarding (a) ; - it was lawful for (iii) to redeem the first mortgage and thereafter act as mortgagee Property (a) 2 roods, 25 poles in Beeston, Sandy abutting Beeston Green and bounded: NW and SW by Manor Farm of Arthur George Darnell; NE by Beeston Green; SE by property of Susannah Ashwell, with messuage, shop, onion loft, stable and outbuildings in occupation of Grace and Charles James Underwood and Herbert Hawkins Witness: - Francis H L Blaine, clerk to E T Leeds Smith & Company of Sandy, solicitors Indorsed with redemption of second mortgage of £150 on 27 January 1939 witnessed by Thomas H Sills of Sandy, solicitor
