Thanks for letter enclosing one from Brougham. Princess much agitated by impertinent reports in papers that her character not cleared. She is now satisified to remain quiet until it is seen what turn her affairs are likely to take. Has implicit confidence in her advisers. Report that Regent & his ministers cannot go on long together. Princess amused at the idea of the Regent taking Canning into the government to forward attacks on her. Encloses letter from Princess.
