    25 October, 7, 14, 15 November 1752 Admission recites: (i) Thomas Crouch surrendered out of court 3 September 1742 to use of: (ii) Elizabeth Rudd of Weybridge Surrey, widow - 3 copyhold messuages in Stratton Street, Biggleswade, late in occupation Jonathan Horsely, Edward Apthorpe & John Huckle for securing £400 + interest proclamation for heirs of Elizabeth Rudd deceased made 19 October & 19 November 1759 4 & 14 May 1751 & 9, 10, 11 October 1751 - premises forfeited. Her will dated 31 January 1744 bequeathed residue of personal estate to Elizabeth Goodall of Weybridge, aforesaid widow, executrix now: Elizabeth Goodhall admitted 6 & 7 November 1753 Present Elizabeth Goodall's surrender to use of will 21 June 1753 15 & 16 April 1760 recites will of Elizabeth Goodall dated 15 April 1758 by which real & personal estate bequeathed to her 2 daughters Joanna Webb & Lydia Goodall; Joanna now admitted to one moiety, which she immediately surrendered to Lydia who was admitted to same; & at same court said Lydia was admitted to one moiety of the said premises under will of her mother 27 July 1763 Present that on 22 July instant Richard Mapletoft of Chertsey, surgeon & wife Lydia (late Goodall, spinster) surrendered said premises to use of said Richard for life, remainder to uses as in marriage settlement of 4 June 1763 (i) said Richard (ii) said Lydia (iii) Nathaniel Castleton, William Cooper & Joseph Hill. Said Richard admitted. N.B. Further uses of the settlement were in default of issue of the marriage, to survivor of Richard & Lydia. Lydia died in lifetime of her husband without issue. 22 December 1773 Admission i) Nathaniel Castleton, Anthony Nott & Walter Batchelor, esquires by Thomas Banns their attorney on surrender of: ii) Richard Mapletoft by Jeremiah Bryant his attorney - said premises same court i) (as above) surrender - cottage & ground behind the same in Biggleswade opposite Crab Lane in Stratton Street in occupation of Richard Huckle to use of Charles Barnett, William Pym, Richard Astell, John Francklin & John Harvey esquires (trustees of Biggleswade & Stevenage Turnpike Road) who were admitted by John French their attorney [See X440/267, /274, /275, /278-9]
