    1) Thomas Brooke of Queen's St. Lincolns Inn Fields, gentleman, but born in the City of York at my late grandfather Mathew Bayockes in the Pavement there. - to "loving companion wife nurse & friend" Anne (daughter of John Pell late of the City of Norwich esquire & wife Ann) all real & personal estate; sole executrix. & residuary legatee - desires wife to give his son Thomas & brothers John & James a mourning ring each & that in disposal of estate "she will behave to my Relations as they shall behave to her". 2 June 1768 NB: This will has been established in Chancery against the heir at law 2) Ann Brooke of Titchfield Street in St. Mary le Bone, Middlesex daughter of John Pell of City of Norwich esquire & wife Ann - a monument to be erected to memory of them & testatrix of value £50 & not to exceed £100 - to Richard Rudd of Great Queen Street in St Giles in the Fields Middlesex gentleman all real & personal estate subject to following legacies: - to Mary Elizabeth Rudd £500 & if she predecease testatrix, to her mother Mary Elizabeth Rudd wife of said Richard Rudd - to said Mary Elizabeth Rudd wife of Richard Rudd, diamonds, rings, jewels of every kind - to Mrs Mary Thackray late servant of testatrix £100 & household furniture - to John Brooke son of the Reverend John Brooke £500; if he predeceases executrix then to his mother Mrs Frances Brooke - to Sir John Elliott, Doctor in Physic the picture of my late husband & another of cupids in water colours - Richard Rudd sole executor & residuary legatee dated: 13 February 1779 proved at London 25 November 1780
