iii) John Flood, Leighton Buzzard, butcher
iv) John Forth, Leighton Buzzard, yeoman
v) Thomas Deverell, Leighton Buzzard, gentleman (trustee for iv)
Recites: Thomas Saunders by his will 6 June 1771 devised to daughter Betty 3½ acres of freehold arable land in Shenley Hill Field, Leighton Buzzard
: Betty Reeve wife of Benjamin Reeve died October 1811
: said Benjamin Reeve had several children by his wife and the land was devised to him for his lifetime
: on death of Benjamin Reeve 3½ acres devised to eldest son Thomas Reeve
: it was the desire of Benjamin and Thomas Reeve that 2 of the 3½ acres should be sold, said John Forth for £50
: by a mortgage of 12 September 1795 between Benjamin and Betty Reeve and John Flood in consideration £15 the 3½ acres were devised to John Flood
: the said sum was not repaid
: there was now due £20..15, the sum to be paid in discharge of the mortgage
Conveyance by Benjamin and Thomas Reeve to John Forth in consideration £20..15 paid by iv) to iii) and £29..5 paid by iv) to ii) on premises:
- 2½ acres at Shenley Hill Field, Leighton Buzzard in a furlong then in occupation of Benjamin Reeve, the ½ acre remainder to the N.
:S. John Forth and shooting E. on Gregory's Close
which said 2½ acres Thomas Saunders purchased from Elizabeth Eavestaff and her son Richard [9/10 Jun 1817]
20 March 1820 William Forth died intestate whereby the 2½ acres descended to only son William [see NC/T61]
5 January 1837 said William Forth married Mary Ann Emerson at Leighton Buzzard [NC/T66]
