    Settlement (lease and release) [lease missing] i) Penelope Frances Towne, Grantham, Lincolnshire, widow ii) Reverend Leonard Elye Towne, Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, clerk Reverend John Staunton, Staunton, Nottinghamshire, D.LL Lewin Cholmley Esq., Gunby Hall, Lincolnshire Reverend George David Faithfull, Eastwell, Leicestershire, clerk iii) said John Staunton said Lewin Cholmely said George David Faithfull i) releases to ii) in trust - close in Allington, Lincolnshire (14 acres) late in occupation of John Lynn - two closes at Easthorpe in Bottesford, Leicestershire, called Pinfold Close and Granary Close (together: 3 acres 3 roods) once in occupation of Edward Hinds and Daniel Pykett, now in occupation of Thomas Cincent [?] and Robert Pykett - one moiety of several closes in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire (60 acres) in occupation of William Sharp trust - to i) for life and then to ii) to apply profits etc to benefit of i)'s second son John Elye Towne for his personal maintenance, then in trust for his children. If no children, the propery to be divided into two and one part to i)'s son Leonard Elye Towne and other to daughter Sarah Elye Norris also i) declares that iii) shall hold in trust - £1,127 14s 6d in 4% Bank annuities - £1,1233 covered by a Promissory not of Leonard Elye Towne - interest on both in trust for life of i) and then to transfer them to Sarah power to appoint new trustees signatures of all endorsed witnesses: Henry Gordon William Sears Thomas Elye Norris George White N Townsend Edward Pollard 18 May 1827
