For the benefit of almspeople who are poor persons who (except in special cases to be approved by the commissioners) are resident in the parish of Cardington, Cople and Eastcotts at the time of appointment. Prior to scheme of 26 August 1970 registered under 200182 general benefit of the poor. Scheme varied 30 November 1981. The charity owns and operates eight almshouses in Cardington.
