i) Marc Antoine Parkins Obert, 20 Palace Gardens Terrace, Kensington, Middlesex, Esquire, late a Captain in the 97th Regiment of Foot Isaac Herbert Wilkinson, Upper Hare Park, Cambridgeshire, Esquire Thomas Irwin Barstow, Inner Temple, London, barrister ii) Robert Hindley Wilkinson, Lieutenant-Colonel late of Bedfordshire Militia, now of Chesfield Lodge, Graveley, Hertfordshire, Esquire and wife Catherine Ann Caroline iii) William Medlock, 63 Gower Street, Bedford Square, Middlesex, potato salesman reciting will of Robert Wilkinson, late of the War Office and of Montagu Square, Middlesex, deceased, dated 13 February 1838 by which he devised to wife Catherine, all property (inter alia) in Stotfold for life, and then to son Robert Hindley Wilkinson. By codicil to said will said Robert desired his debt to Mr Veasey to be paid from Stotfold property. He died on 10 March 1839. Will proved Prerogative Court of Canterbury on 17 April 1839. Debt to Mr Veasey was paid. By marriage settlement of 15 December 1852, on marriage of Robert Hindley Wilkinson and Catherine Ann Caroline Obert, spinster, Stotfold land passed to trustees, to be held subject to a mortgage of 24 May 1850, discharged on 9 January 1857. Marriage took place at Marylebone Church on 16 December 1852 now in consideration of £1320 i) grants and ii) confirms to iii) - piece market garden land, with plantation, having frontage of 173 feet to main road leading from Stotfold etc., to Three Counties Asylum and Hitchin (5 acres 1 rood 15 perches) (as in plan on deed - coloured pink) - piece market garden land with plantation having frontage of 666 feet to new accommodation road leading into said main road (10 acres 3 roods 10 perches) (yellow on plan) covenant to produce title deeds (as in schedule) Schedule of deeds from 1778 signatures i) ii) endorsed receipt witnesses: Frances Macmara, Kensington A N Moyes, Cambridge William Perryman, Bayswater, London William S Morison, London Matilda Farmer, Mayfair Samuel Hirdy (?) clerk to Sam Veasey
