    i) Mary Cawne the younger of Bedford (widow of John Cawne late of Bedford, coal merchant, deceased, only son and heir of Thomas Cawne late of Bedford, gentleman, deceased), and Mary Cawne the elder of Bedford, (widow of Thomas Cawne, and mother of John Cawne) and Thomas Vaux of Bedford Esquire ii) Richard Lovesey of Bedford, gentleman Recites: will of John Cawne (as recited in HT1/18/11 & 12) Whereas: John Cawne died on 24 March 1775 leaving no issue, and his will was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury by his wife Mary Recites: HT1/18/11 & 12 Whereas: Mary Cawne the younger for furthering the sale of the real estate had paid the sum of £31..11..6 mentioned in HT1/18/11 & 12 out of the personal estate of John Cawne; the premises belonging to John Cawne had lately been sold by public auction, and ii) was the purchaser of premises described below NOW consideration: £370 paid by ii) to Mary Cawne the younger, and 10s. paid by ii) to Mary Cawne the elder and Thomas Vaux, i) grant to ii) - messuage or tenement in the parish of St. Paul, Bedford, heretofore in the occupation of Thomas Cawne, now of Frances Cave, widow, purchased by Thomas Cawne of John and Martha Preston and Susannah Mangey :N. messuage or tenement now of William Theed Esquire :S. messuage or tenement now of Letitia Battison, widow :E.
