    Agreement Parties: (i) Elizabeth Hockliffe of Oak Tree Cottage, Sharnbrook, widow; (ii) Ernest Hockliffe of Barrow Court Farm, Tickenham [Somerset], professor of literature, retired, William Llewelyn Jones of 1 Harpur Street, Bedford, solicitor - as trustees Reciting: - will of Frederic Rich Hockliffe of Pavenham, bookseller, of 19 March 1929 appointing (i) and (ii) as executors and trustees and devising his real and bequeathing the residue of his personal estate to the trustees with power of sale and power of continuing or winding up his business as bookseller and dealer in fancy goods in Bedford; - death of Frederic Rich Hockliffe on 23 April 1929 and proof of his will in PPR on 15 August 1929; - (i) and (ii0 had continued the business of Frederic Rich Hockliffe and 86 and 88 High Street, Bedford and (i) was of opinion that a new branch should be opened at 11 Bradshaw Street, Northampton and she had asked (ii) to agree to (i) and (ii) taking a five year lease from 1 February 1933 at £50 per annum; - (ii) were willing to agree to (i)'s request in consideration of indemnity Operative Part: - the new business would be opened and a lease taken out; - (i) covenanted with (ii) to indemnify the estate of Frederic Rich Hockliffe against loss from extending the business; - (i) covenanted to indemnify (ii) against them as trustees of the estate in having agreed to extend the business Witnesses: - Frances E Pacey of Cobb Hall Cottages, Sharnbrook; - Lilian Dordery of Tickenham, domestic servant; - F W Page, clerk to Sharman & Trethewy of Bedford, solicitors
