Mr Anson's palace of fairyland. Chinese house and pagoda. Apartment in which I am lodged contains best productions of India; Finest chintz and paper, China, Japan, painted glass etc.; writing at a rosewood table and bureau that perfume the room; dressing-glass has a beautiful shepherdess and landscape painted upon it. But home has always beauties no other place can equal. Excessively vexed not to have heard anything more of you since letter - left particular directions some one should write every post; two posts without a line. Leave Thursday to go tour into Derbyshire. Poor canal - hope returned to you before now and quite full - should like dirty ditch.
