    i) John Taylor of Bedford, gentleman, brother and heir of William Tayler of Bedford, deceased ii) Emerson Plumpton of Bedford, gentleman For barring of estates tail and conveying premises to use of i) consideration: 5s. paid by ii) to i), i) grants to ii) - messuage, tenement, farmhouse and dovehouse in Harrowden, Cardington - two Closes of Meadow or Pasture ground upon which an ancient Farmhouse formerly stood (some years ago pulled down) in Fenlake, Cardington, and Harrowden (16 1/2 acres) - Meadow ground in Fenlake (12 acres) - Meadow ground in Elstow (2 acres) - several pieces of arable land and ley ground (160 acres) in the common and open fields of the parishes of Cardington, Elstow, and in the Town of Bedford - all those closes of pastuire or enclosed ground called Bonians alias Bunnians in Harrowden (20 acres) - orchard in Fenlake (1 rood) on which a cottage formerly stood - cottage or tenement and pightle or close of pasture in Fenlake and Harrowden near Harrowden bridge. All the above premises in the occupation of William Brooks - messuage or tenement in "Escots about Cotton End", Cardington, & close of pasture adjoining called In Lands, divided into two parts (35 acres) :E. the lands formerly of Mr. Wynch :W. Bulands Field :N. Bray field :S. Hay close (see below), and the land formerly of Mr. Wynch - Close of pasture called Hay Close with appurtenances in Eastcotts, upon which the last mentioned messuage or tenement stands (20 acres), formerly three Closes called Hay Close, Grass Close, and Whitlocks, formerly in the occupation of John Bull and called Bulls Farm, now in the occupation of George Hand - messuage or tenement in West End, Kempston - Close of pasture ground long divided into 3 Closes known as Westleys adjoining the said messuage (8 acres) :S.
