    i) Abigail Munns of Bletsoe, (widow of Edward Munns late of Bedford, yeoman, deceased), Gilbert Tompkins of Bletsoe, husbandman, and Abigail his wife (one of the two daughters of Edward Munns) and Edward Tompkins (eldest son and heir apparent of Gilbert & Abigail Tompkins) ii) John Pepiatt of Bedford, gentleman iii) Randolph Taylor of Bedford, butcher consideration: £80 paid by iii) to i), and 5s. paid by ii) to i), i) at the direction of iii) grant to ii) - two messuages or tenements with appurtenances lying together in the parish of St. Paul, Bedford, late in the occupation of Edward Munns, and now or late in the occupation of Edward Harrison, his assigns or undertenants :N. Well Street :E. tenement or messuage now or late of Edward Pilkington :W. barns and grounds formerly of William Abbis, and now or late of Robert Courtman, gentleman, formerly the parsonage tenements - also a piece or parcel of orchard ground in Sheep's Chipping in the parish of St. Paul, Bedford, lying near the said messuage or tenement, now or late in the occupation of the said Randolph Taylor, and formerly belonging to a messuage or tenement heretofore of Humphry Skelton, and now or late of the said Randolph Taylor, measuring on the East side from North to South 50' 4", and on the North side from East to West, 42'. :W. orchard of John Abbott alias Phillipps :E. yard belonging to the said messuage of Randolph Taylor :N. yard belonging to above messuage :S. orchard late in tenure of John Taylor to hold to ii) so that a common recovery might be suffered in Hilary Term next, to the use of iii) endorsed: witness to alteration of date to 24th January receipt by Gilbert Tompkins to iii) for £80 witnesses: F.
