Whereas: John Walker died in February 1804 (sic - must be an error for 1824), and his will was proved in the Archdeaconry Court by i); Sarah Walker, the youngest daughter became 21 on 23 January 1830; Trustees had agreed with i) for the purchase of the property under the terms of "An Act for the better management and disposition of the estates given by Sir William Harpur, knight and Dame Alice his wife for a free and perpetual school in the Town of Bedford etc.", 7 Geo IV. [1826/7]
