    i) William Foster of Bedford, Doctor of Laws ii) Mary Yarnton of Bedford, widow, and Catherine Rose of Bedford, widow iii) William Yarnton of Bedford, tailor Recites: lndenturs of 7 May 1669 1) Humphrey Skelton late of Bedford 2) William Foster aforesaid of Bedford, gentleman Grant by 1) to 2) for 1000 years at peppercorn rent - 2 messuages or tenements adjoining with appurtenances in Sheeps cheeping alias Angell Street in the parish of St. Paul, Bedford, then or late in the occupation of Joane Lawrence, widow, and William Bonner, purchased by 1) from his brother George Skelton, who purchased the property among other tenements from William Lawrence and Richard Lawrence. Whereas i) later purchased the reversion and inheritance of the premises of Humphrey Skelton in the names of John Goodall and Thomas Bedford, both of Bedford, gentlemen, in trust for himself. Joane Lawrence is dead, and i) is in actual possession of the property, one messuage being let to Ralph Heale, and the other to Catherine Rose Whereas i) has sold and agreed to convey the messuage in the occupation of Ralph Heale to Mary Yarnton, and the other messuage to Catherine Rose, it is agreed between i) and ii) that the residue of the term of 1000 years should be assigned to iii) in trust for the equal benefit of ii) to attend upon the respective reversions of the messuages NOW consideration: 5s. paid by iii) to i), i) grants residue of term of years to iii) in trust for uses of ii) as above. witnesses: Benjamin Haselden John Pepiatt F Brace Junior seals: three applied on paper wrapped on tags, with representations of a fortress, an anchor, and a fleur de lys respectively signatures: W Foster mark of Mary Yarnton "K R" mark of Catherine Rose
