Copy of absolute surrender by: (i) William Warner of Stevenage, yeoman, to (ii) James Ind of Baldock, brewer Of (a) Tenement in Potton formerly in occupation of John Cox then of Samuel 'Mason' [sic] and now of William Dear, known by the sign of the Maidenhead, to one moiety (half share) of which (i) was admitted on 3 June 1785 under surrender and will of his grandfather John Cox, and to the other moiety of which he was admitted on 19 May 1794 under surrender of Elizabeth Cox as granddaughter and devisee of John Cox. With receipt of (i) for £140 paid by (ii) for purchase of (a).
