Manor of Potton Much Manured, Court Baron of Rt. Hon. George Lord Viscount Torrington, Baron of Southill. Admission of Elizabeth Cox, granddaughter and devisee of John Cox deceased under his will dated 20 September 1783, to half share of part of cottage in Potton known by the sign of the Maidenhead now in the occupation of Samuel Mann. Elizabeth Cox aged 17 years therefore custody of her person and of the premises committed to William Warner the Elder. Rent 3/4d as apportioned; entry fine 3/4d. Examined by John Hinson, steward.
