Some of the drawings reflect Mr West's interest and involvement in local history and archaeology but many are designs carried out by Chrystal & West as an architects' practice, there is cross over with the collection received from Chrystal & West and catalogued as Z284.
Archival history
Drawings originally deposited and subsequently gifted (telephone conversation 10 November 1989) by Mr Bernard West, architect. The drawings were originally received in a number of small deposits and were catalogued by running number in no particular order. They were re-catalogued in 2015, when they were arranged by place for ease of reference and production.
