Lewis Herny Chambers (1868-1962) was a commercial traveller. Born in Brackley, he lived in Rickmansworth and then Amersham before coming to Bedford. He lived in Bedford at 28 Denmark Street from 1918 to about 1926, but by 1928 was living in St Albans. He died in the St Albans district in 1962 aged 93. He and his wife, Kate, had four children: Irene Marjorie Katherine; Lewis Harold (1904-1967); Norman Henry and Alfred Hugh.
