    1) Edmond Seare, Hampton, Middlesex, gentleman 2) Thomas Dagnall, Totternhoe, Bedfordshire, husbandman Reciting a Demise for 800 years on 22 May 1615 by William Sandes, Eaton, Bedfordshire, esquire to Edmond Ashwell, Totternhoe, yeoman, since deceased at a yearly rent of 39s 6d of: - certain messuages or tofts and 2 half yard lands in Totternhoe and Eaton Bray - certain land containing by estimate 60 acres in Eaton and Totternhoe which premises came to William Ashwell, son and heir of Edmond Ashwell on his father’s death by virtue of letters of administration issuing from court of Archdeacon of Bedfordshire Reciting will of William Ashwell dated 10 May 1635 by which he bequeathed land to his brothers Richard and James Ashwell Reciting deed poll by Richard Ashwell dated 21 December 1636 as part of a division of the said land, and being a Quitclaim to James Ashwell of all rights in - 17 acres of arable, meadow and pasture for the remainder of the term of 800 years Reciting deed of James Ashwell, described as James Ashwell the elder of Eyton, yeoman, dated 27 July 1641, being an Assignment to Edmond Seare for the remainder of the term of 800 years - 17 acres of land ASSIGNMENT by 1) to 2) for 760 years in consideration of £6 10s - 1 acre 1 rood arable land in the fields of Totternhoe: - 3 roods in the Castle field in Neither Horsebread alias Short Horsebread next to land of Michael Mouse east - other half acre in same field “turning over Banberry Knapp” next to land of Henry Pedder east and land of Michael Mouse west which land is part of the 17 acres, 2) to pay proportionately rent and services Signed Edmond Seare Witnesses Mr Thomas Edge scrivener, Robert Robins, William Edge
