- Scope and ContentSummarises the position and discussions of the sub committee, and sets out the financial arrangements between the Harpur Trust and the Local Education Authority as regards the free place pupils. The local authority proposes to reduce the 'grant in aid' given to the Harpur Trust, which will cause a deficit, leading to the proposal to reduce staff salaries. The proposals of the sub committee, to increase fees and to adjust increments paid to staff, were not aaccepted by the main committee, who opted for other proposals.
