Letter from C.D. & J.W. Linnell offering £200 to establish a fund to assist boys on taking commissions in one of the fighting services. Would like the fund to be named the H.L. Linnell Memorial Fund, in memeory of their brother, who died in Malaya about a year ago. 'if by any chance the war should end before the fund, we should like to be consulted about it's further disposition'.
