Death of Thomas Scotcher January 1801, intestate, leaving a widow and Sarah Scotcher, his only sister and heir in law.
Property therefore passed to Sarah Scotcher
Death of Sarah Scotcher November 1824, intestate and unmarried, leaving Thomas Scotcher of Slaughterford, Wiltshire, labourer, her heir at law. Therefore premises passed to him.
Death of Thomas Scotcher March 1825, intestate and without issue, leaving i) his nephew and heir at law, he being son of Thomas Scotcher’s sister, Hannah, by Charles Kendall, formerly of Trowbridge, clothworker, her husband, now both deceased.
