Receipted account from W W Gardner to Mr John Conquest for school books, equipment and stationery from 10th June to 3rd December 1834 for £13 13s 1 1/4d. It is a long account covering 4 sides of paper. It was settled on 28th March 1835, signed by C Gardner, "pro W W Gardner". The receipt is on a separate piece of paper fixed to the account by sealing wax and embossed with a sixpence receipt duty stamp. Typical items include:- " 1 Pinnock's Latin Grammar", "3 Goldsmith's Geographys", "2 Johnson's Dictionarys".
