Receipted bill from Malden & Pierson, coal, corn, deal and iron merchants of Middle Wharf, Biggleswade to Mr Conquest for 20 bushels of coals for £1 9s 10d with a discount of 1s 8d making the total bill £1 8s 2d, which was paid on 30th March 1835, signed by Caleb Malden. It has a printed billhead stating "discount allowed for ready money" in a box on the left hand side.
