With this, sends a rough sketch of what Dr Maltby intends to insert in this week's paper [possibly W1/1940]. Never gave notice to a tenant for his political opinions. Cases have occurred of Lord Sandwich doing so. Lord Sandwich & Rowley very busy. Alderman Ansley, the late Lord Mayor of London, is against us. About a mare: sorry Tavistock did not keep her.
