- Scope and ContentDescribes activities. Helen Drummond visited. Kings had no special service to celebrate Armistice. There were celebrations at College Hall [hand written programme enclosed]. There had been rumours that the undergraduates were going to raid Newnham as in pre-war days. About 10.00 pm a mob of 200 or so of them marched up to the gates, but the place had been too well bolted up for them to get in. They sang and cheered. Went to the annual Sedgwick Memorial lecture in College Hall. Lord R. Cecil came to speak about the League of Nations. Mentions forthcoming events and arrangements for Christmas.
