alleges Bank acted improperly in passing Edmund Powers Cheque for £30,000 (see HF41/7/13/27) when he was known to be a "Lunatic" by this stage. [ie senile] Matthews letters become threatening, claiming that Hooper & Co are withholding information but (assuming this is a complete collection of the letters), refusing to specify what information Matthews requires. Hooper & Co are therefore understandably baffled
