- Scope and ContentOn T.J.Hooper's advice the Conveyance was made out to George and his two brothers C.T. and E.F.Powers. In 1878 Edmund Powers bought two further pieces of meadow land of 2 Acres, 3 Roods, 36 Perches &1 Acre, 3 Roods, 20 Perches repectively with the conveyances again being made out to his sons. In 1879 the deeds of the above properties were deposited as the security for a Promissory Note of £1961 to Messrs John and James Hammond and William Brady: money paid to the sons for use in the business.
