    If the stipend paid to the curate of Elstow is not charged on the estate, it cannot be charged on the settled portion, unless it comes with the trust. Will see Payne today & Sidebotham tomorrow. There is no objection to the exchange with Lord Salisbury; but before Bedwell was sold, a fence was to have been put up, & it is thought that SW should do it. Payne will be bound by Sidebotham's opinion.
