    Recites: RO29/18 Now: i) appoint that below mentioned premises shall be to use of ii) Now further: consideration: £1,338 i) release to ii) -messuage in How End in Houghton Conquest formerly in occupation of Henry [sic] Stringer then of Mathew Facer and now of Joseph Bennell -4 closes and 3 pightles of pasture adjoining said messuage, 16 acres -29 acres 1 rood arable and ley and 3 half-acres meadow in How End and Houghton Conquest [abuttals given as in RO29/4-5 but Earl of Aylesbury, later Duke of Bedford, is now Earl of Upper Ossory] -10 acres in Houghton Conquest [abuttals given as in RO29/15-16] containing together 56 acres 3 roods purchased by William Brown by Lease and Release 7 and 8 April 1774 [RO29/15-16] free from all incumbrances except quit-rent of £1..2s per annum payable to said Earl of Upper Ossory Signature: i) Witnesses: William Wilshere, Joseph Eade
