    1. Requisition on Title The Draft of the proposed Deed should be submitted to Purchaser'sd Solicitor before it is submitted to Messrs. F. W. Burr & R. C. Burr. Answers Draft Conveyance will be forwarded to you tomorrow. 5 Requisition on Title The Vendor should produce the Evidence which satisfied him on the point raised by this Requisition. Answers See letter from the Vendor herewith as to this. 6 Requisition on Title The knowledge of the Vendor, and not of his solocitor, is what the Purchaser is entitled to. It might well be that the Vendor has knowledge which he has not communicated to his solicitor wwhose answer on the point would be useless. Will the Vendor's solicitor enquire of his Client? Dated 21st September 1897 B C White 2 John Street Bedford Row London Answers dated 30th September 1897 Letter from Hugh Cumberland dated September 27th 1897:- Dear Sir Myself to Lloyd With reference to Mr White's further requisitions you can reply to them as follows No. 1 Draft deed can be submitted to him. Kindly ???? that it is. No 5 I have no evidence to produce but my father and myself having had the whole management of Messrs. Burrs estate for the last 50 years I well know it did form a portion of the property passing under the Conveyance of 16th September 1897 No 6 There is no tithe or land tax payable in respect of the property. There is a charge of 52/- a year payable out Blackwater fields to the vicar and church wardens, this Messrs Burr have agreed to pay and do pay. If Mr White wants an indemnity I will give him one. No 7 There are no notices affecting the property that I am aware of. None have been served on me. Yours faithfully Hugh Cumberland
